There was a time when everything around me felt extremely dull, so I started creating pieces opposite of that. 

The Burnt Sunset Beanie came from that same feeling. A warm, burnt orange inspired by the colors that fill the sky right before the sun disappears, and right before it's visible again.

Because when you're in a dark place, the sun is still going to rise again and so will you. 

And sometimes you have to create a little brightness for yourself while you're waiting for it.

THE MEANING:

Depression makes everything feel muted and dull from the things you used to love, the places you used to go to even seeing the person you see in the mirror. Sometimes finding your way back doesn't happen all at once. Sometimes its as simple and small as letting some color back into your life and environment. The orange represents that, represents the hope of wanting to live again while acknowledging your pain. The sunset represents the reminder that endings aren't always permanent and the sunrises shows what comes after choosing to stay. 

You might not be able to see it yet but the sun is still coming.
